Reunion Giving

Recognize the impact Swarthmore College has had on your life — and provide extraordinary opportunities for the next generation of Swarthmore thinkers and doers — by making a legacy gift in honor of your reunion. For the 45th reunion and beyond, all documented bequest intentions count toward your class giving!
There are a number of ways to make a reunion legacy gift
- Make Swarthmore College a beneficiary in your estate plan (will, trust, individual retirement account, or life insurance policy) .
- Create a flexible gift annuity, which is an advantageous retirement-planning tool that allows you to support the College and receive income in the future.
- Use your donor-advised fund to make outright gifts or fulfill multi-year pledges.
Did you know…
- You can use your Individual Retirement Account (IRA) to make an outright gift, known as a qualified charitable distribution (QCD), to Swarthmore College? Some of those funds can also be used to create a charitable gift annuity.
- Swarthmore can be a beneficiary of your retirement accounts, brokerage accounts, donor-advised funds, or life insurance policies?
If you have named Swarthmore in your will or trust or as a beneficiary of an account or policy, please let us know so we can thank you for your generosity and recognize you in the James A. Michener Legacy Circle.
Make a gift now to celebrate your reunion or reach out to a member of the Gift Planning team to discuss ways to leave a legacy.
